Christmas Festivities For Newcomers
Hills and Valleys Nonprofit Organization’s Christmas for Newcomers program is designed to warmly welcome newcomers to Canada, helping them experience the joy and spirit of the holiday season in their new home.
This program celebrates the diversity of our community while embracing the traditions of Christmas in Canada.
I. A Melange of Christmas Celebrations
Hills and Valleys Nonprofit Organization creates a unique and inclusive Christmas celebration that reflects the rich cultural tapestry of our community.
We offer newcomers an authentic and heartwarming experience of Christmas in Canada by considering regional variations and incorporating cultural influences. This celebration is a blend of festive traditions that honors both Canadian customs and the diverse backgrounds of our participants.
II. Gifts, Greetings, and Christmas Hampers
Hills and Valleys Nonprofit Organization presents families with thoughtful gifts, heartfelt holiday greetings, and Christmas hampers filled with necessities and treats, as part of the celebration.
We design hampers to bring comfort and joy during the holiday season, providing both practical items and festive goodies to make the season brighter for those who are new to our community.
Through the Christmas for Newcomers program, we aim to create a welcoming and joyful atmosphere, helping families feel at home and connected during this special time of year. Join us in spreading holiday cheer and making Christmas a memorable and meaningful experience for all.

Christmas 2020
The 5th annual Christmas Giving Program for Newcomers was a success!!
Yeah!!
Good times must always continue and giving must always be a priority!
Unprecedented times require steps forward in unprecedented ways.
This year was another ‘knock-it-out-of-the-park’ Christmas celebration.
So pleased and honoured to be a part of the group of Christmas Helpers and Sponsors that made this wonderful event all come together.
We laughed, cried (ok, only one person cried…a child who accidentally dropped their cup of hot chocolate) and shared really great times together.
May you embrace the Christmas season with warmth, laughter and generosity.
